I had the honor of sharing the music of Brazil at the 95th anniversary celebration of the World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh collaborating with Betty Cruz, Caito Amorose, and Marty Ashby.

As a Brazilian immigrant and artist, I have experienced how meaningful it is to find a community where different cultures, voices, and experiences are welcomed and celebrated.

Throughout my journey in Pittsburgh, music has been one of the ways I’ve connected with people, shared my Brazilian heritage, and built bridges across cultures.

The World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh reminds us that our international experiences and diverse backgrounds enrich the communities we call home. By encouraging dialogue, understanding, and global connections, the Council helps make Pittsburgh a more welcoming and inclusive city.

It was a pleasure to be part of this special celebration and to recognize an organization whose mission resonates so deeply with my own journey.
